Here is how to easily setup a free store pickup option using our app
To ensure customers are never charged for in-store pickup—even if the item is stocked at a different location—you can set up a free pickup rate in your Shopify shipping settings. Here’s how:
- Create a weight-based rate for store pickup and set the price to $0. This will display a free pickup option at checkout, regardless of which store holds the inventory.
- Use the Pickup Rates feature in our app to ensure the pickup price is always set to $0 for all store locations. This requires the Real-time carrier rate feature on your Shopify account.
- When customers select pickup, no shipping or transfer fees will be applied, and the order confirmation will reflect the chosen pickup location.
This setup ensures a seamless, fee-free pickup experience for your customers at either store.
